The ‘Sikh Helpline’ is a community based and confidential telephone and online support service where you can get help, advice, counselling and information on various issues.

Support for New Arrival/Migration to Australia
Newly arrived migrants, be it permanent residents, students or workers face many challenges when they arrive in Australia. The first few days are most challenging with regard to even basic things like setting up bank accounts, getting to know the transportation and directions, sorting out accommodation, finding jobs, getting tax file number, registering with various agencies like centrelink, medicare etc. Please call or get in touch with us if you facing any of these problems.

  • Student Support Network

Workplace discrimination can be experienced at workplace, classroom etc. It is encouraged that such problems should be dealt with and sorted out.

The only way to control is to make more and more people aware and also report it to authorities so that necessary steps can be taken.

School going kids and teenagers can be at receiving end of bullying, pranks and abuses targeted at them because of their appearance or identity. Many times especially while growing up one goes through issues that cause upheavals. The self esteem is not always high and there be problems regarding ones identity. Living in countries where one is ethnically different and lead to low sense of belonging and problems fitting in.
